1ST DAY: CATANIA

Arrival at Catania airport, transfer and welcome in hotel .

2ST DAY: FISH MARKET - VOLCANO ISLAND

In the morning visit of the Pescheria, the famous fish market, where you can know the famous Pesce Azzurro and many other fishes in the Mediterranean. Free time for lunch. Transfer to Milazzo where you will take the hydrofoil to the island of Volcano.

3ST DAY: VULCANO CRATER (3 HOURS WALKING +390M -390M / 6 KM) PIZZA MAKING

Of its three volcanoes, only the largest, Gran Cratere, is still active – albeit only just; the last eruptions took place over a century ago. You will climb up to the summit (391mt) takes about an hour on a rough track, In the late afternoon, pizza making demonstration and dinner.

4ST DAY: STROMBOLI – LA SCIARA DEL FUOCO – VULCANO (4 HOURS WALKING +400M -400M/6 KM)

 

Boat to Stromboli island a magnificent and enchanting island, with black sand beaches and white houses. Walk to the "Sciara del Fuoco" where you can see Stromboli's volcanic activity; a fiery channel where the lava out flows can sometimes plunge directly into the sea.

5ST DAY: MILAZZO - TAORMINA - ETNA

In the morning hydrofoil to Milazzo. From here, transfer to Taormina and time at disposal to visit the little enchanting town.

6ST DAY: LAVA MUSEUM AND ETNA WALKING EXCURSION

In the morning visit of the Mula, Museum of Lava and Volcano, is a permanent exhibition on volcanism and human activities on Etna, the highest volcano in Europe. The first museum on Sicily focused on world spread Volcanoes, offers a unique opportunity . Later excursion on Etna to discover some of the many craters.

7ST DAY: ALCANTARA GORGES

In the morning visit of Excursion to the Gole dell’Alcantara. The wild scenery, with the high rocky walls of the gorge and the water running between our legs is comparable to any of the other great natural beauties of the world.

8ST DAY: DEPARTURE

Breakfast and end of our services.
